John has asked that I make a full anodized over-barrel silencer for his Ruger SR-22. as well as a threaded barrel adapter.
Specs: 34mm diameter, 114mm over-barrel, sealed unit, compact forward of barrel, over-barrel to the fore-stock, ported muzzle, anodized in matte-black. John has also asked that I make him a threaded barrel adapter so that he can mount his existing muzzlr-brake.
Below: John’s AR-22 ready to be suppressed.
Below: John’s barrel adapter mounted on my own SR for the photos.
Below: Muzzle-brake mounted on my rifle.
Below: It started to rain in the photos. Note: John has asked that I re-blue the muzzle-brake, as a lot of the existing blue had work off. However, I discovered the reason for the blue not lasting, is that the metal is very resistant to blueing. I have powder coated it as well. Note: I may need to align the muzzle-brake on John’s barrel.
Below: Ported muzzle and side-ways venting muzzle-brake. Note: John realises the added noise a side-ways venting muzzle-brake produces, as well as the minimal noise suppression from such a short ‘forward’ of barrel silencer.
